Mission

The mission of Saint Louis Priory School is to provide a Catholic, Benedictine college preparatory education of the highest excellence so as to help talented and motivated young men develop their full potential as children of God.

Purpose

The Benedictine monks of Saint Louis Abbey continue the Order’s centuries-old tradition of providing a liberal arts education. Priory graduates are grounded in the Benedictine principles of love of God and neighbor as well as an appreciation for the exchange of ideas.

Quality

Priory’s academic program imparts the intellectual skills and habits of inquiry, study and reflection that are vital to a successful future.

Dynamic Community

Priory’s Benedictine tradition makes community life central to a student’s experience on campus.  Extracurricular and co-curricular programming offer numerous opportunities for students to be mentored by their peers and faculty throughout the integrated six-year program. Students gather weekly for Mass, prayer and community life programming within the advisory system which is a small, multi-grade level group of students. Participation in sports is an integral component of the overall Benedictine education and development of each student.
