At Ursuline Academy, we want to welcome you to come as you are and help you discover who you want to be.

We honor the unique, God-given talents of every young woman and work to ensure that each student, feeling the acceptance and support of a loving community, grows to see herself as a strong and competent contributor to her world. At Ursuline, every girl is an achiever in her own way.

As a Catholic, college preparatory high school, our Academy offers an enriching program for a range of college-bound learners so they may achieve their potential in their faith, academics, arts, athletics, leadership, and our motto of Serviam. No two students are alike, so we empower you throughout your four years to take the path that's right for you.

The best way to get to know Ursuline Academy is to visit us on campus! We provide a variety of opportunities for you and your daughter to experience our community first-hand throughout the school year. In the fall, we invite students in eighth grade to join us for a Shadow Visit, while seventh-grade Shadow Days take place in spring. Experience UA's sense of sisterhood and community, meet students and teachers, and see why every day is a great day to be a Bear!

We look forward to seeing you on campus soon!

Mission

Alive in the spirit of St. Angela and rooted in Catholic values, Ursuline Academy is a welcoming community that prepares young women for higher learning and cultivates in them the courage to use their minds and voices in service of a global society.

Purpose

Ursuline Academy cultivates a solid sense of Catholic values both inside and outside of the classroom. While our Catholic identity is at the forefront of our mission, we nurture the spirit of all students, both Catholic and non-Catholic, cultivating a faith-based community where all are welcome. Our theology courses offer a wide range of theological content, balanced with experiential learning to promote understanding while opening our students’ hearts and minds to God. All-school liturgies, faith sharing, retreats, and service opportunities contribute to this development of our students.

Quality

Ursuline Academy offers a college-preparatory education driven by the pillars of our graduate profile: Serviam, Academic Excellence, Leadership, Respect for the Individual and Development of the Whole Person. We encourage our students to develop a clear sense of their individual interests, talents and abilities and to use those gifts to impact their community. We offer a variety of courses including, college credit and AP courses in all core subjects, coding, engineering, dance, ceramics, photography, vocal and instrumental instruction.

Dynamic Community

No matter who you are, you belong at Ursuline! From the first day you walk on campus,  you will immediately feel a sense of belonging and support. Our House System, Big Sis Lil Sis program, and other community initiatives form the foundation for new friendships and the creation of a sisterhood that lasts a lifetime. With over 40 clubs and organizations and 16 sports offered, we make it easy for you to get involved, cultivate your talents, develop meaningful relationships, and grow as the leader you are meant to be!
