Inspired by the Franciscan charism, St. Justin Martyr is committed to supporting the whole child through faith development and academic excellence.

Purpose

Inspired by the Franciscan Charism of our founders, St. Justin students strive to be Apostles of Peace. Prayer is an observable and valued part of each school day. Students participate regularly and actively in liturgies, sacraments and Christian service. Students are encouraged to be active members of the parish and wider community. Living the virtues and sharing the Gospel message are the foundation for all that we do.

St. Justin is a school where innovative practices and hands-on learning help students become lifelong learners. Many of our teachers are award-winning at the local and national level. Our curriculum is reviewed regularly and represents the best of state, local and subject-area standards. Our Standards Based Grading practices create specific learning goals and support student engagement in their own learning.

Statistics

St. Justin in known for innovation and leadership in the areas of Standards Based Grading and Curriculum/Instruction. Our Makerspace/Library/Media Center provides flexible learning space for hands-on, cross-curricular learning for all grades. Hands-on learning extends to our student gardens and outdoor classroom.

Technology enriches instruction through regular use of Smartboards in each classroom as well as plentiful iPads and Chromebooks for student use at all grade levels.
